Universal Free School Meals for infants
From September 2014 the Government now funds universal free school meals for infant pupils. Therefore all children in school years Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 will now be eligible to receive a free school meal.
If your child is eligible under this scheme it means they will be able to enjoy delicious, healthy meals and that you will not have the additional effort and expense of making packed lunches every day. This equates to a saving of around £409.50 per year.
We need to know if your child will be staying for their free school lunch. Please inform the school office as soon as possible.
School meals are available to children in Key stage 2 at a cost for £2.10 a day or £10.50 a week. Payments are only accepted via our online payment system SIMS pay or by getting a bar code from the school front office and paying at the Post Office or eligible Pay Points.
