Rewards for Healthy Eating At Holbrook Primary

Caught being healthy cards

This takes place in the Autumn Term. Two Children are chosen each day from every year group:

• A pupil who has chosen a healthy lunch from the dinner canteen and has eaten all their food.
• A pupil who has brought in a healthy packed lunch and eaten all their food.

A caught being healthy card is given to the pupil they write their name and class on it and put it in the the “Golden prize” box.

There will be a draw at the end of each half term for a prize

Healthy tokens

This takes place in the summer term:

The children get a token for eating all their dinner and an extra token for choosing a healthy pudding.

Packed lunch children get a token for bringing a healthy lunch and eating it all.

The tokens are counted up every day; classes who reach 500 tokens are entitled to a 15 minutes water play. 1000 tokens are 30 minutes and so on.

The water playtime will happen at the end of the term.
